Week 5 EOC: How do you become a Mogul?
To become a "Mogul" it takes some sort of brain and the time to sit down and brainstorm on what it is you are trying to do and put forth. In my opinion, you dont reach the level of Mogul until you have a sound and legitimate product that you are trying to produce. You have took the necessary steps to have a POW WOW with the big fish and You have a direction your going. Also i dont think you can reach the level of Mogul until after time has elapsed and your doing well from your own creations. I myself am constantly trying to think of new ideas that i can develop something to have an impact on the modern world today. I use the idea that, No one can go without food, clothing, and shelter. They are 3 vital essentials needed to live an everyday life. I am in the proccesss of developing some sort of TCG for kids at the elementry level because i feel they are they most needy and they are the most influenced by non-technical design.
Week 4 EOC: Avon
Revamp Avon via social networks. Avon needs to catch up with the modern internet of today. Why not make an actual retail store so people can actually test and view product. If not a retail store, avon needs to keep up with the times and keep freshly, new created content on their websites. Twitter feeds, facebook likes and evaluations of their products to keep the consumers coming back.

Week 3 EOC: Spotify
SPOTIFY- The European start-up, which is backed by digital entrepreneur and Facebook founding president Sean Parker, has grown fast in recent months since launching in the United States and sealing a partnership with Facebook. Digital music streaming service Spotify may see revenues top 6 billion
Swedish crowns ($889 million) this year as it pushes ahead with its
rapid expansion on both sides of the Atlantic, founder Daniel Ek said in a newspaper interview. "Our focus is all on growth. That is priority one, two, three, four and five. But of course we expect to make a profit in the long run," he was
quoted as saying. "We want to build this company over the long term. Therefore the stock market is not an alternative for us," he said.
This man has a plan, and it is being put forth with the best inentions. The next big thing? its already big if your company is valued over a billion dollars. Spotify has raised capital from outside investors several times since it set up shop in 2006 and there have been recent media reports it was looking to secure another capital boost of around $200 million, valuing Spotify at about $4 billion. Look out for Spotify.

Week 2 EOC: Privacy
Privacy on the net....Do I feel safe? Do I feel like i'm being intruded on? In my opinion, No i do not. Here is why. By me using the internet, im agreeing to use someone elses service, im agreeing to abide by their guidelines and im agreeing to submit the information that is required. They same agreements apply to every website you look at, every social media network you join. They all have a set of rules, set of privacy parameters that they work around. Maybe surfers should pay more attention to the small print and actually read the "agreement terms of privacy." If a network updates and changes its policy terms, you will and are assured to receive some sort of notification, usually in an email."Generally, there is no safety in unlawful activity on the internet." Its up to me to read those changes and either deny or accept them.
Privacy on the net is like a double standard. If you want to continue to view/ineract with the sites you browse daily, you are going to agree regardless, otherwise your onto a new website that has the same functions, but probably wont be as popular and will have less features. Read before you agree. "Unsolicited emails are not regulated by federal law at the present."

Week 2 BOC: Instagram
Instagram sells to facebook for $1,000,000,000...Smart play by Zuckerberg."Mark Zuckerberg just bought instagram for $1,000,000,000?.... He could've just downloaded the free app.” Did he buy the app or did he buy the users? The instagram app is only 551 days old and sells out for a billion dollars, we have companies that are half a century old and aren't even worth 1 billion dollars yet. In my opinion, Facebook just ended its competition and made them join the darkside with an offer you simply cannot refuse. "Facebook is essentially about photos, and Instagram had found
and attacked Facebook’s achilles heel — mobile photo sharing.” In addition to receiving the blossoming app, it came with 30 million plus some, users. Facebook just expanded.
Facebook CEO Zuckerberg acknowledged as much when he wrote on his company’s blog, “This is an important milestone for Facebook because it’s the first time we’ve ever acquired a product and company with so many users. We don’t plan on doing many more of these, if any at all. But providing the best photo sharing experience is one reason why so many people love Facebook and we knew it would be worth bringing these two companies together.”

Week 1 EOC2: Modern Internet
The modern internet is the hip of now. If you havent surfed, browsed or even looked at the internet you are living under a rock, or you are just unfortunate. Now that the internet is the tomorrow of today, its time people became more comfortable and more user friendly with the internet. A simple trick when surfing the net is your address bar. It can be used as a search engine or it can go directly to your site. Get tired of typing addresses, just simply type out your site, Hold Control and press enter. It will automatically add ".com" and "http" this works on windows only.
Week 1 EOC: My Voice
My name is Melvin Vernon. I am an oustanding Professional in Web Design and
Interactive media. I am a straight forward, hip, and relaxed kind of guy. I get
a kick out of doing puzzles or anything that challenges me mentally. I am from
Los Angeles, Ca. I recognized that California as a whole is going down, so I
decided to relocate to las vegas, where there are similar but not exact,
opportunities as there is in Los Angeles. I served my Country in the United
States navy for 6 years. It was an eye-opening experience which I do not regret
any second.I have a passion for technology and I am driven to keep up with the
technology of the modern world, because I feel strongly that it will be our
future. How can it not be? I enjoy building sites, building computers, pretty
much anything to do with problem solving. One of the toughest things ive
encountered to date is, programming websites. Its new to me, and it’s a
challenge I don’t mind tackling. Follow me on this path to success. I have the
mind set of a marathon runner, i dont want to sprint and be over with it, i
want to be able to last through the whole process. Failure is a no.
